i3’s 3-D fingerprinting technology developed from a 15-year history of improving biometric fingerprinting systems.

Founded in early 2004 by company president Richard Fenrich, i3 successfully built the world’s first portable livescan system, reducing the device size and introducing our patented USB interface for both power and data control.

This achievement formed the basis of our successful digID and digID+ product lines and the many resulting patents. i3 continues to progress the biometrics industry through the persistent introduction of cutting-edge fingerprinting biometric solutions to the frontier of fingerprinting.
