Meet our CEO
Richard Fenrich
President and CEO
Richard Fenrich founded i3 in 2004, launching the company on the strength of Exegetics Incorporated’s previously developed strategic biometric technology. In the later part of 2004, i3 deployed the industry’s first small format livescan, which operated with the company’s single connection interface patent.
Through Fenrich’s leadership, i3 continues to introduce cutting-edge technologies, advancing the frontier of fingerprinting with every innovation.
Fenrich earned two technical master’s degrees, one from The Ohio State University and one from State University of New York at Buffalo. He previously served as a senior research scientist at the Center of Excellence for Document Analysis and Recognition.
